Sick…..AGAIN!!!

So, for the third time this year I have strep…..I’m beginning to think Kansas is trying to tell me something.

I just have one things to say…

Sinus temper tantrums suck!!!!!!!!!

And of course it starts up before one of my busiest weeks of the summer.

My ass has been kicked….

That sinus temper tantrum has turned into a full on war. It has kicked my ass up and down the block for the past 12 hours. I don’t remember the last time I ran a fever. I am currently running one for the second time today. This sucks!

Sucks…

I would just like to state that the flu sucks!! Not only for those with the virus but for those parents who have to take care of those with the virus. Michael has had it since Monday and is still going strong. He didn’t eat at all yesterday. We have been feeding him Tamiflu religiously. Yesterday Bailey started showing symptoms so we started her regiment of Tamiflu. I’m hoping it is all done by this weekend because we are supposed to go to Lincoln. Sabrina is going to be very disappointed if we have to cancel her vacation due to illness.

I feel like the Jaws music should be playing in the background all over central Nebraska today….mixed with Jingle Bells. The looming idea of being snowed and iced in tomorrow just makes me irritated….not that I would mind being home again….but I would be stuck there with both the kids….and Michael hasn’t been that fun to be around since he got grounded from video games and computers.

I was sick this weekend. I had the UTI from hell. Ok, I actually had that when I was a child and this wasn’t quite as bad (at least I didn’t end up in the hospital this time). I did end up going to the ER on Sunday night so they could get the antibiotics started because I couldn’t bare it any longer. I would go into details but that definately would be TMI.

Gave in and started playing Final Fantasy XII this weekend also. Not too bad of a game. Rather addicting…I’m not so much sucked in by the story rather I’m fascinated by the gameplay. Very unique new battle system. So anyway, I have a new addiction to keep me busy until school starts….like I really needed that.

Speaking of addictions, the Flash programs for the niece and nephew are almost done. I need to do some more recording of instructions and such but otherwise it is good to go. I need to make one for Bailey now.

I’m really tired still today…and I feel like my head is floating in space….so I’ll go back to floating now….

My cold has hit me like a ton of bricks. My ears itch, my nose is running, my head is pounding, I can hardly keep my eyes open but I can’t seem to sleep, and my throat is getting all scratchy. *sighs* I have been so healthy recently. So much for that. To make matters worse, I feel like I’ve been completely slacking on homework and need to get my butt in gear since I have to carry mail 2 days this week which takes away from study time. But I’m so damn tired it is hard to concentrate. I’m getting confused just reading the instructions on some of this crap. *sighs* Whoa is me…..

I’m dead today. My sinuses started acting up and I have that wonderful sinus medicine buzz going on. I hate that feeling. The good news of the day is that we were approved for our home improvement loan. We are trying to get all the ends tied up and all the papers sent in now. We should close around August 15th. Hopefully this was a good move. I really can’t wait to get started. I just want to get the house fixed and into a decent state. This will get us A LOT closer to that goal.

I want to spill more of my mind out on the screen but I just can’t find the words. Things are going good yet they aren’t….it’s all so hard to explain. *shrugs* They are more good than bad at this point so I will just be content with that.
